Anticipation
So it all seems to be coming closer and closer. The days are going by very quickly. This keeps becoming more and more real as the day draws near. I don't even know when we start our drive out there. All I know is that I must report on the second of September. If anyone has any ideas that might help any of you or that might be fun to see in coordination with this blog please feel free to ask me and let me know how I can do it. I don't know what I will be doing as far as the time I will not be playing hockey so what ever you all suggest is a very welcome suggestion. Thank you again for following me and I promise I will be blogging basically every single day I am out there so starting about the second of September be sure to start checking in to keep up :). Love you all.

So last week was shark week and i know personally i missed watching a lot of it which i was super bummed about because it is like the highlight of my summer(that might be lame but shark week is AWESOME!) any who... i did get a chance to catch a new thing they did which was "Shark in the Dark" it was a study they did with heat detection and night vision cameras to study shark behavior at night and see if they hunt or sleep or whatever at night. WELL... what i learned from "Shark after Dark" and feel is VERY important to pass on to you is that in Puget Sound there is a shark called the 6 Gill (self explanatory) and it is HUGE and BLACK and it stays in the deep water during the day but at night it comes into the shallow bay water to hunt and eat and uses the bay of Puget Sound as a nursery to breed and raise its babies. In conclusion DO NOT i repeat DO NOT go swimming in the bay after dark or near dusk or the 6 Gill WILL EAT YOU AND YOU WILL DIE!!!!
ReplyDeleteAH! That is excellent advice. Goodness that would be awful. Talk about career ending injury...... yikes. Ok Mental note, no swimming once the sun starts to set, Big sharks that want to eat you. :) love you jess. I'll miss you. :(

ReplyDeleteI really love you a ton too! we will we'll do lots before I go. You just get used to that job, once mine is over which is in a couple weeks well almost one week then we'll work on some plans to hang out a lot. ok? I promise. No way am I leaving with out hanging out with my big sister :)
