Good day

It has been a relatively good day. We had an afternoon skate today so we were done and back to the house around seven ish. Which was nice to have happen :) early to bed??? Maybe? Probably not haha. We still haven't gotten too many new kids out there yet but hopefully we will next week and the week after. We got some new equipment today, ok so the players got some new equipment. We goalies got a new bag though, it is a weird shaped hockey bag though haha. It is super boxy, if we don't pack our stuff just right into it there is not a chance that it fits in the bag either, it's pretty small, especially compared to my huge bag that could literally fit me and someone else I think inside haha. Still really cool to get stuff :)

I also went and did a quick little job for Kris's dad, for about an hour, got paid twenty bucks. I was happy haha. I had Applebee's for lunch and unfortunately we had Mcdonalds for dinner, but I had chicken so I didn't feel 100% gross haha. only 85%.

We continue to have great weather up here, I think I might have stolen it from Colorado and brought it up here haha. We'll see though I hear the winters out here are the worst parts. I'm not really looking forward to that part. I am glad that most of my breaks that I will get will be in the winter ish times. So the times that I do get off I will get to leave the scary winter out here to go back to actual fun winter haha. I cannot wait for christmas, o goodness haha I'm already saying that? Yikes. I love it up here though so far it is fun for sure.

I will be starting class on the fifth or the eighth of next month, for what ever reason I just forgot what the actual day is. Just have to tie up a few lose ends :) I have been in contact with an architecture firm in Seattle, just waiting for my name to be passed around to see if I can be of any help. In the mean time I will be looking for alternative employment in case that does not work out :).

Emily and I are doing great. She had a lot of studying to do today, wish I could've been there to help. I hope that we will be closer sometime in the near future so that I will be able to help when she has tests that stress her out. Feels kind of like I am unable to help at times from this far away. She assures me I still do :)
