Situated

So today was a bit hectic haha. The Scougale's left this morning early with me still without a place to stay for the next..... oh about 8 days. I had no idea what I was going to do, luckily I had a sort of back up to stay on Chris's, kid that lives in Puyallup, couch at his house till I was able to find somewhere. So I was a little worried from the start about that one haha.

Went to practice hoping that Donna, the team owner, was going to have a place for me to stay. I did not have time before hand so I had to wait till after. It was a pretty fun practice, we are still doing a lot of skill styled drills, I am slowly growing more confident in my position on this team, which is great! We are still trying to get quite a few new kids to come out, our one new kid from Colorado is just not very good, all the other kids that had played with him before keep saying that he used to be able to be one of the quickest and best kids on the ice. So I don't know if he is just not trying for what ever reason, or if he just lost what those kids saw in him. All I know is that so far we have a pretty short team and are trying to expand that a little.

So after practice I was able to go and see Donna. I came into her office, she looked at me and before I even said anything she goes..... "you need a place to stay huh?" Immediately I was like well here goes the couch haha. I guess she had told Coach to find me a place to stay.... Why? don't ask me. :) But there was one of the kids that I didn't think will be playing with us there and he said he could make a call. Called his dad and before I knew it I had a place to stay. As it turns out, no I hadn't made this connection before, it was Kris, the other friend I have, his brother. So I am currently staying on an air mattress set up in their living room haha. They are super nice, it is good company, I'm liking it here.

I'm planning on trying to make it up to Mount Raineer tomorrow or Saturday, however I think I was invited to go to Seattle with most of the team on Saturday to hang out and go eat. Since most aren't from around here they were curious and wanted to go see. It will be fun to go there with someone from here so they can show us around. And I'm just kind of excited to go and be a part of the team.

Emily and I still just so amazing. We are both pursuing God's path and plan and doing our very best to follow him, even though we do not know where he will lead us. All we can know is that he is leading us where we NEED to go and where is best for us. Even though it will be hard at times and that He will challenge us, We can do all things through him who leads and saves s from the devil's grasps.
