I cooked!!

Haha today was a pretty good day. There was not a cloud in the sky the entire day, we had temperature of about 86 today, way too hot hahahaha. I heard that Home is supposed to get snow tonight.... I miss waking up to the snow at such weird times through out the year back home. I don't think we will see too much snow up here. I am curious to see how the winter goes. I then got to cook, well kind of, twice!! For lunch I made hame and cheese crescent rolls, which were great but I don't know how much that counts as cooking. I then, for dinner, made chicken, the way I make it back home, just with what ever ingredients sound good at the time. It all turned out great! I loved it and so did Kris.

Hockey was scary today, to be honest. Our team again was not putting in the effort and the mental work to truly be out there. Coach was not happy at all. I was struggling a little bit with just some basic things that I know I was able to do, so during the break everyone got their head on straight I spent my time focusing and visualizing. We all played so much better the second half of practice, two of our players fought because there was so much tension, we had some lines that were just connecting so well on the ice, we had some huge, fair hits, we had players running the goalies like they should and would in games, we had some sniper shots. It was a great second half I sure hope we can continue it. Both coaches told me that I played well tonight, which was very encouraging.

Emily and I, still just growing, so much together, there is so much to explore and learn through our lives and experiences. It is such a grand adventure! One that we are taking together in some ways and separate in others. It is great to know that you always have someone to talk to or just to say something nice if there is a bad day. It is fantastic. I love you darlin!
