I started out thinking..... lots of thinking, and talking with Em of course. I decided to go up to Bremerton, where the game rink is, because when Mom and Dad were here we had seen that there was a blackberry festival that was going to start this weekend either today or yesterday. So I drove up there super super worried about it, I had started driving and of course ran into rain on and off the whole way up, and realized half way up that I had forgotten a jacket.... That won't happen again. Luckily though the Lord provided and it didn't rain at all and i was actually kinda warm while I walked around the festival. The festival was rather disappointing considering I hardly saw anything about any blackberries..... Thats dumb. There were no samples or anything, there were plenty of salsa and meat stands and of course jewelry and art stuff like that but really? you'd think everything would have to be somewhat related to blackberries..... Nope. So I had an italian sausage and left haha.
I still had a whole heap of time before I had to be back for dinner. So since I was up there already I went and watched people skate around on the game rink for a bit. There is something about a hockey rink that I just find so soothing and relaxing, it really just makes my day sometimes to just sit and watch a piece of ice. I love it sometimes I could just sit there all day and just look at it. I left that to go back and check out the progress on the new ice at the practice rink. I was really excited about this. They were redoing all of the lines and putting a logo in the middle, from what I had heard. All of this was true it looked great all of the lines were so crisp and the crease now super visible, unlike before, and that logo in the middle is pretty sweet. The ice still looks as if it has some issues but the lines and all of that look great.
I went back to the house to have some dinner that Mrs. Scougale had prepared. I got back and they were all doing their part to clean her car haha. It was a huge family event I thought it was funny because if Mom had ever tried to get us to do that back home all of us would have laughed haha until Dad told us we had to, or that they would pay us. It doesn't quite work like that here. They are good people I'm very blessed to be a guest here.
I found out that I will be needing to find a place to stay for about ten days here coming up, starting on the seventeenth. That should be interesting since I don't know anyone yet. I guess it will be a great way to kind of introduce myself and I'll be forced to really throw myself out there. Obviously I could just talk to the owner and have her find somewhere for me but I need friends so we'll see who offers to help.
Em is still not feeling too great so if y'all could please keep praying for here, I guess the Swine Flu is out in South Carolina pretty bad, I'd hate for her to get that. We're still doing great, we both have been having good and bad times, not in our relationship but rather our separate situations, and so we have been able to encourage and motivate and really just up each other's moods. It has been working out just splendidly. I love her so very much and can't wait to see her again, it's amazing however to really think about how far apart we are and to realize how great we are doing with it. Like the distance doesn't even matter, who'd a thunk it?
Tomorrow I plan to start looking into schools calling to get started on an online course shortly if not right away. Then I am supposed to have practice tomorrow night, however, I do not know the time of that, I think it is dependent on when they get the ice ready, so we'll see how that is, but Coach Chadd, our head coach, will be back so..... hopefully I won't die! :-P haha
I love you all so much thanks for reading! Means so much more than I could tell you.
29 Days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
